• Brown and right-hander Justin De Fratus were out Wednesday with the flu. It also claimed head athletic trainer Scott Sheridan.

• The Phillies returned Kevin Munson to the D-backs on Tuesday. The right-hander, a Rule 5 Draft pick, walked eight batters in seven innings.
