Worth noting

• Pitcher Nate Adcock is expected to return to Arizona on Sunday to begin his rehab after undergoing Thoracic outlet syndrome surgery on Thursday.

• Pitcher Robbie Ross, on throwing five scoreless innings against the Reds on Friday night: "I felt good. I felt like I went out there and got over the first inning jitters. It was kind of comforting that way."

• Left-handed hitters are 1-for-7 off Ross this spring as he has been more effective in getting the ball inside on them. They hit .341 off him last year.

Jason Frasor, Neal Cotts and Pedro Figueroa all pitched in Minor League games on Saturday to get the work in because Colby Lewis and Nick Tepesch were shooting for a combined seven innings in the Cactus League game against the Athletics.

Matt Harrison will pitch two innings in his Cactus League debut on Monday. Joe Saunders will follow in a night games against the Royals.
