CHICAGO -- The Cubs released season-ticket-renewal information Monday for the 2014 season, the 100th anniversary of Wrigley Field.
The 81-game home slate is split into eight "marquee" games, 13 "platinum," 33 "gold," 18 "silver" and nine "bronze."
Prices for marquee games range from $28 for an upper-deck reserved outfield seat to $112 for an infield club box seat. Bronze game pricing varies from $8 to $58, while prices for the 33 gold games range from $19 to $93.
The rate for Budweiser Bleacher seats is $65 for marquee games, $45 for platinum, $36 for gold, $26 for silver and $17 for bronze.
For the third consecutive season, daily season ticket holders will see a flat or decreased invoice.
Season ticket holders will once again pay less in 2014 than equivalent single-game ticket prices, which will be set at a later date.
Season ticket holders must indicate their intention to renew for 2014 with a non-refundable first payment of 10 percent of their invoice amount by Nov. 18.
One change is that there are fewer platinum- and marquee-level games. The marquee-priced games will include two Interleague games against the Yankees on May 20-21 and a three-game series against the Cardinals from July 25-27. An April 23 game against the D-backs will mark the 100th anniversary of Wrigley Field and be priced at the gold level.
One addition from past years will be a block of 350 seats in the upper deck that will cost $19 for every game and be available only on a single-game purchase basis.
