The Naturals blanked San Antonio to finish 1-2 in the series. Whit Merrifield's second-inning single gave the Naturals a 1-0 lead. They added two in the sixth and six in the seventh. Jorge Bonifacio and Merrifield each doubled home a pair in the seventh. Andy Ferguson tossed 5.0 shutout innings, limiting San Antonio to one hit and one walk.
Wilmington Blue Rocks (20-28 2nd half, 53-65 overall)

Wilmington dropped to 2-2 on the homestand with an opening loss vs. Salem. Mookie Betts was a nemesis to the Rocks as he homered and drove in five runs. Leonel Santiago allowed five runs, four hits and three walks over 6.0 innings. Justin Trapp doubled twice and scored the lone Wilmington run.
Lexington Legends (30-20 2nd half, 63-55 overall)

The Legends settled for a 2-2 split vs. Hagerstown. Starter Matt Murray tossed 6.0 innings, holding the Suns to two runs, three hits, one walk and seven strikeouts. Mark Donato recorded two hits, including a two-run homer in the ninth. All Sally League teams are off today, with Lexington at Charleston (Yankees) on Tuesday.

Idaho Falls completed a four-game sweep, outscoring the Rockies 39-12 in the series. Cody Stubbs tripled home two in the first and scored on Daniel Rockett's home run. Dominique Taylor hit a two-run homer in the fifth. First-round pick Hunter Dozier added a two-run single. He was promoted to Lexington this morning. Yender Caramo held the Rockies to a run and four hits over 7.0 innings.

Burlington's 5-4 lead evaporated as the Twins plated seven in the seventh. Kevin Kuntz, son of Rusty, recorded two RBI and a run. Jerrell Allen and Alex Newman each posted two hits and a run. The Royals are at Pulaski (Mariners) tonight.

Surprise moved ahead in the ninth, only to have the A's plate a pair in the home half. Starter Pedro Fernandez allowed just one run on six hits and no walks over 5.0 innings. He has a 2.19 ERA with Surprise (6 ER in 24.2 IP). Amalani Fukofuka was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
