Softball Teams from PA and DR Earn #1 Seeds at RBI World Series

Softball teams from Harrisburg, PA and Santo Domingo, DR have earned the #1 seeds in their respective softball playoff brackets at the 21st annual Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) World Series, the international baseball and softball tournament of the Major League Baseball RBI program.

Playoffs begin on Tuesday, August 13 at the Leonard H. Neiman Sports Complex and Dunning Softball Fields in St. Paul, MN. Following is the full tournament seeding for the elimination round of the 2013 RBI World Series:

American League Central
#1 - Harrisburg RBI (Harrisburg, PA)
#2 - Cleveland RBI (Cleveland, OH)
#3 - Hoboken RBI (Hoboken, NJ)
#4 - Atlanta RBI (Atlanta, GA)

National League Central
#1 - Santo Domingo RBI (Santo Domingo, DR)
#2 - Houston RBI (Houston, TX)
#3 - Nobu Yamauchi RBI League (Hilo, HI)
#4 - Mathews-Dickey RBI (St. Louis, MO)

The game will be taped to air on MLB Network and streamed on MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, at 11:30 am ET on Wednesday, August 21.
