Today between 1-7pm ET at Niketown in Manhattan (57th St. between Fifth Ave. and Madison Ave.), fans can register for the All-Star 5K & Fun Run presented by Nike. Fans who have previously registered for the race are able to pick up their race packets, including the commemorative t-shirt, during this time.

Nike, the presenting sponsor of the All-Star 5K & Fun Run, will have numerous activities to engage with fans throughout the event. In the festival area located in the Nethermead, an oversized Nike FuelBand will be on display with participants able to take part in contests to win Nike-themed prizes, including FuelBands. Nike will also lead a warm-up prior to the start of the event and have a cheer zone along the route with bucket drummers to encourage racers.

As part of 2013 MLB All-Star Week, the MLB All-Star 5K & Fun Run presented by Nike will raise funds to help victims of Sandy in New York City and throughout the Tri-State Area. The event will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund and the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. The All-Star themed course will take participants through Brooklyn's Prospect Park featuring appearances by Hall of Famer Frank Robinson; legendary MLB manager Tony La Russa; former Mets pitchers John Franco and Dwight Gooden; Ed Charles, Ed Kranepool, and Art Shamsky of the 1969 World Champion Mets; Barry Lyons of the 1986 World Champion Mets; MLB Network personalities Eric Byrnes and Sam Ryan; and ten mascots, including Mr. Met.
