• Orioles top prospect Dylan Bundy's throwing progression has increased to 125 feet. Showlater is optimistic Bundy, who has yet to appear in a game this season, will be able to throw off a mound in the near future.
• Right-hander Steve Johnson, who went to the DL on June 6 with a left oblique strain, will start throwing on Saturday for the first time since the injury occurred. He will start off by playing catch and progress from there.
• Prospect Jonathan Schoop, dealing with a stress fracture in his lower back, will take ground balls on Monday. Schoop is batting .268 with three homers and 18 RBIs in 34 games for Triple-A Norfolk.
