Rangers game versus Diamondbacks postponed due to field conditions

Arlington, Texas - Tonight's scheduled game between the Rangers and Diamondbacks in Arlington was postponed due to unplayable field conditions. The game, which was called at approximately 8:05 p.m. CDT after a one-hour delay, will be made up on a mutual off date to be determined.

Fans holding tickets to tonight's game should hold onto them pending the rescheduling of this date.

This is the first postponement in Arlington this season, the club's second postponement overall. Texas was rained out on April 17 at Chicago-NL and the teams played a one-game makeup date on May 6 at Wrigley Field. The last postponement in Arlington was September 29, 2012 vs. Los Angeles-AL.
