The Blue Jays recalled outfielder Anthony Gose from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday and optioned right-hander Mickey Storey to Buffalo.

Gose, 22, has spent the entire season in Triple-A, batting .227 with a .343 on-base percentage. He had five doubles, two triples, two home runs and five stolen bases in 40 games.

Gose made his Major League debut last year, appearing in 56 games for the Blue Jays and hitting .223 with a homer, 11 RBIs and 15 stolen bases.

Storey pitched in two games for the Jays since joining the club on May 9. He gave up three runs in 3 2/3 innings, surrendering six hits, one walk and striking out five.
