With Thursday's hard-fought 95-92 victory over the Chicago Bulls, the Nets have forced a seventh meeting in their first-round playoff series. The final skirmish will take place on Saturday at the Barclays Center -- the first time a Game 7 has taken place in Brooklyn since 1956's Subway Series between the Yankees and the Dodgers.

Sportswriter Sam Smith pointed this out on Twitter after the final buzzer:

The borough's 1956 Game 7 -- played on Oct. 10 of that year -- was the last World Series game at Ebbets Field. The Yanks shut out the home team, 9-0, and the bottom of the ninth ended with Jackie Robinson's final career at-bat.

What can we expect from Brooklyn's next Game 7?
