Major League Baseball All-Stars to travel across 42nd Street

MLB All-Stars from the New York Mets and every other Major League Baseball team will travel across New York City's 42nd Street in open-air Chevrolet vehicles prior to the 2013 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 16 in the ninth annual MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet. The players will start at Bryant Park on 42nd Street & Sixth Avenue and proceed on an approximately 80,000 square foot red carpet past Grand Central Station and ending at 42nd Street between Second and Third Avenues.

The event, which is free for fans, will begin at 1p.m. ET and is scheduled to feature all of the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Stars riding through Midtown Manhattan in the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado trucks. Jim Leyland and Bruce Bochy, the AL and NL All-Star team managers, will lead their teams down the carpet in Chevrolet Camaro convertibles.

With the outcome of the All-Star Game again determining which League will have home field advantage in the World Series, the World Series Trophy crafted by Tiffany & Company will be on display as part of the MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet.
