The Washington Nationals are once again partnering with the FOX 5 Weather Team to invite students from across the D.C. area to Nationals Park for the third annual Nationals Weather Day before the team faces the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday, April 24 at 1:05 p.m.
FOX 5's Tucker Barnes, Sue Palka and Tony Perkins will conduct an interactive presentation to educate local students on the various types of weather conditions in the region and how they affect a Nationals baseball game. The program will also feature a special guest from the National Weather Service, as well as a Q&A session with Barnes, Palka and Perkins.
Students will be seated along the third base line while the FOX 5 Weather Team presents their educational program from on top of the visitor's dugout. The presentation will be broadcast on the NatsHD video board for everyone to enjoy. All students in attendance will also receive a free Nationals Weather Day Study Guide upon entry.
Discounted tickets are available for students, faculty and parents in the Scoreboard Pavilion ($14), Lower Right Field Terrace ($11), Upper Infield Gallery ($11), Upper RF Terrace ($7) and Upper Outfield Gallery ($7). For more information or to purchase tickets, visit nationals.com/weather.
