Live Minor League Baseball returns to MLB Network on Monday

Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™) returns to MLB Network next week with the first of five Triple-A® game telecasts in 2013 as the Buffalo Bisons take on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Monday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Included in MLB Network's 2013 Minor League game schedule is the annual Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 17, live from Aces Ballpark in Reno, Nevada, home of the Reno Aces, the Arizona Diamondbacks' Triple-A affiliate and the 2012 Triple-A Champions. Since the event began in 1988, 79 Triple-A All-Stars have gone on to play in the MLB All-Star Game, including Derek Jeter, Pedro Martinez, Mike Piazza, Mark Trumbo, Chase Utley and Joey Votto. The 2012 Triple-A All-Star Game featured break-out performances by New York Mets rookie pitcher Matt Harvey and Tampa Bay Rays star prospect Wil Myers.

MLB Network's complete 2013 Minor League game schedule is listed below.  Games will be telecast in each club's local market, including local announcers except for the Triple-A All-Star Game, which will be produced by MLB Network for the fourth time.  

  • April 22 - Buffalo Bisons (Toronto) at Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia), 10:30 a.m. ET
  • April 30 - Buffalo Bisons (Toronto) at Rochester Red Wings (Minnesota), 11:30 a.m. ET
  • May 13 - Toledo Mud Hens (Detroit) at Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh), 11:00 a.m. ET
  • June 11 - Columbus Clippers (Cleveland) at Gwinnett Braves (Atlanta), 12:00 p.m. ET
  • July 17 - Triple-A All-Star Game - International League at Pacific Coast League in Reno, NV, 9:00 p.m. ET
