Omaha built a 5-1 lead in the first and held on in the 2013 home opener. Nashville hit four home runs, all solo shots. Nate Adcock fanned seven over 5.0 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk. Christian Colon, Irving Falu and Johnny Giavotella recorded two hits apiece, with Giavotella driving in a pair.

Northwest Arkansas lost in 12 innings after rallying to a 5-5 tie in the seventh. Starter Sugar Ray Marimon yielded five runs (four earned) on 10 hits and a walk over 4.2 innings. Angel Franco posted three hits, boosting his average to .440 (11-for-25). Rey Navarro and Manuel Pina drove in two runs apiece. Yordano Ventura will take the mound in tonight's series finale.

Wilmington's home opener was suspended due to rain. The contest will resume tonight with two outs in the bottom of the eighth and Frederick leading 4-3. Kyle Zimmer held the Keys to an unearned run on two hits over 6.0 innings. Zimmer, KC's first round pick in 2012, fanned eight while walking two. Kenny Diekroeger and Justin Trapp have each driven in a run at this point for Wilmington.

Lexington dropped a pair of seven-inning games at home. Greenville jumped out to a 6-0 lead in game one. Bubba Starling put Lexington on the board with a solo blast in the fourth. The Legends added three in the seventh before falling short. Game two was tied at 2-2 when Greenville plated three in the seventh. Lexington starter Christian Binford held the Drive to a run on four hits and two walks while fanning six over 4.0 innings.
