Worth noting

• Despite original plans to reveal the club's 25-man Opening Day roster Saturday, Baker and the Reds decided to wait until Sunday morning to make the moves public.

The manager said after Cincinnati's 9-0 win over the D-backs, however, that all the decisions had been made.

"It's a very tough day for all of us," Baker said. "But we've ironed it out."

The remaining roster battles were down to the final bullpen spots and the last bench spot.
