Biden to throw first pitch for Orioles

Vice President Joe Biden will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Monday's Opening Day game between the Orioles and Yankees at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Biden will be the first sitting vice president to throw out a first pitch at Oriole Park, the club said in its announcement on Monday morning.

The Orioles and Yankees are scheduled to play at 4:05 p.m. ET, with pregame ceremonies scheduled to begin at 3:30.

Biden was a U.S. Senator representing neighboring Delaware for 36 years prior to his election as vice president in November.
