Braves first baseman Ernesto Mejia homered and drove in five runs in the completion of a game suspended Oct. 31, going 3-for-4 to ensure a split in the impromptu doubleheader with Anzoategui. Mejia is hitting .316 with eight homers and 23 RBIs in 28 games in Venezuela. Wilfredo Boscan (Rangers) scattered three hits and a walk with five strikeouts over five scoreless innings for the win. Anzoategui took the regularly scheduled half of the twin bill with Luis Durango (Royals) leading the way from the top spot in the lineup, going 2-for-5 with an RBI.
