The TORONTO BLUE JAYS will open the 2013 Championship Season at home vs. the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday April 2 at 7:07 pm. This marks the 2nd consecutive season the Indians will provide the opposition on Opening Day, with 2012’s three game set coming in Cleveland. Toronto enters its 37th season in the American League with the commencement of the 2013 season.
The Blue Jays will complete the opening homestand with three games vs. Boston from April 5-7 before heading out on their first roadtrip. The club returns for a four game series vs. the White Sox (April 15-18) and a three game series vs. AL East rival the New York Yankees (April 19-21).
Fans looking to join the Blue Jays in 2013 now have the ability to purchase Season Tickets starting today by contacting the Ticket Sales Department at 1-888-OK-GO-JAY, 416-341-1234 or www.bluejays.com. Special incentives to those subscribers who are paid in full by December 7 will be offered again this season. Fans are asked to contact the club for details. Single game ticket sales will not begin until February.
The Blue Jays are pleased to announce that ticket prices will remain constant and there will be no increase in prices for 2013. This marks the 3rd consecutive season without an increase.
Interleague play will see the San Francisco Giants (May 14-15), Atlanta Braves (May 27-28), Colorado Rockies (June 17-19) and Los Angeles Dodgers (July 22-24) make a visit to Toronto during the 2013 season. The Blue Jays will play 10 road contests in Interleague play, featuring games against the Atlanta Braves (May 29-30), San Diego Padres (May 31-June 2), San Francisco Giants (June 4-5) and Arizona Diamondbacks (Sept. 2-4). The Houston Astros will also make their inaugural appearance at Rogers Centre (July 25-28) as an American League member.
