A's recall RHP Dan Straily from Triple-A Sacramento

The Oakland A's recalled right-handed pitcher Dan Straily from Triple-A Sacramento, the club announced today.

Straily made his Major League debut with Oakland earlier this year and went 1-0 with a 3.18 ERA in three starts.  He was selected August 3 but was optioned back to Sacramento August 20 when Brett Anderson was reinstated from the disabled list.  Straily went 1-0 with a 4.61 ERA in three starts with the River Cats following his option and combined for a 9-7 record and a 2.78 ERA in 25 starts overall with Double-A Midland and Triple-A Sacramento.  The 23-year-old right-hander led all of Minor League Baseball with 190 strikeouts.
