BALTIMORE -- The Blue Jays' series finale against Baltimore was postponed on Sunday afternoon due to rain.
The game has been rescheduled for Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. ET as part of a doubleheader. It will be a single-admission game and the night affair won't start until at least 7:05 p.m.
Right-hander Henderson Alvarez, who was scheduled to start on Sunday afternoon, will now get the call on Monday in the series opener against the Yankees in New York. He will be followed by left-handers Ricky Romero and J.A. Happ.
The Blue Jays head into New York on a seven-game losing streak and having lost all but five of their past 26 games. The main reason for that has been a lack of offense, as the club has averaged just 2.8 runs per game over that span.
