Kevin Kouzmanoff recorded two hits, including a solo homer in the seventh. Xavier Scruggs hit two homers and drove in five for Springfield.

Andy Ferguson and Edwin Carl combined to retire the final 19 batters as Wilmington held on at Frederick. Geulin Beltre began the fourth with a game-tying homer and Orlando Calixte put the Rocks ahead with a run-scoring double. Calixte led off the game with a home run and finished a triple shy of the cycle. Cheslor Cuthbert added three hits and is batting .450 (18-for-40) over his last 10 games.

Kane County finished with a 2-2 split at Burlington. Kyle Zimmer allowed five unearned runs on 10 hits over 6.0 innings. Michael Antonio, Chris Elder and Tim Ferguson each drove in a run for the Cougars, who are at Quad Cities (Cardinals) tonight.

Diego Goris hit a two-run walk-off homer in the ninth, capping a five-run rally that began in the seventh. Nick DelGuidice posted three hits and an RBI for the Chukars. Starter Aroni Nina fanned seven while allowing three runs, five hits and a walk through 6.0 innings. Fernando Cruz earned the win after 3.0 scoreless frames.
