Texas Rangers Homestand Highlights, July 23-August 2

The Texas Rangers will host the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and Los Angeles Angels on a ten-game homestand that runs from July 23-August 2. This matches the Rangers’ longest homestand of 2012 (also June 22-July 1 and August 20-29).

The Red Sox open the homestand with three 7:05 p.m. games, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 23-25. Here is the ticket availability for the Boston series:

Monday: 4,500 reserved seats

Tuesday: 7,500 reserved seats

Wednesday: 5,500 reserved seats

The Rangers enter Monday’s game, the 46th home date of the season, 37,643 shy of the two million mark in Rangers Ballpark attendance in 2012. The earliest that Texas has ever surpassed 2,000,000 in home attendance was in the 50th date in 1994. The club did not hit two million until the 55th home date in 2011.

The White Sox follow for a three-game weekend series, Friday and Saturday, July 27-28 at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, July 29 at 6:05 p.m. July 27 is Verizon Wireless Fireworks Friday with $10 cash parking in all Rangers lots.

Los Angeles closes the homestand with a four game series, Monday, July 30 at 6:05 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, July 31-August 2 at 7:05 p.m.

SNOW MONKEYS ON SALE: A limited number of the Nolan Ryan Snow Monkeys that were given away at the July 1 game, will go on sale on Monday, July 23 during Rangers home games only. The Snow Monkeys will be available at the Texas Rangers Foundation booth located at Section 13 on the main concourse from the time the gates open until 90 minutes after the first pitch. The Snow Monkeys will be for sale for $25 each.  A limited number will be signed by Nolan Ryan and will be priced at $50 apiece.  There will be a limit of three Snow Monkeys purchased per person. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rangers Foundation and Born Free USA to support the Primate Sanctuary for snow monkeys in Texas.
