ST. PETERSBURG, FL—Songwriter and DJ Calvin Harris will perform a postgame concert at the conclusion of the Rays-Rangers game on Friday, September 7 at 7:10 p.m. as part of the Rays Summer Concert Series.
Calvin Harris was the most successful songwriter in the U.K. last year, according to trade magazine Music Week from a recent post on BBC's news site. Leading the charge were his major smashes “We Found Love” for Rihanna and his own productions “Bounce” with Kelis and “Feel So Close,” which has now gone Platinum. Harris’ newest track “Let's Go” featuring Ne-Yo—propelled by Harris’ synths paired with Ne-Yo’s vocals—is a high-energy electro-house track destined to become a summer anthem. Live, Harris is a major festival act having dazzled audiences at Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival NYC with his stellar DJ sets.
The concert is free with the purchase of that date’s game ticket. In addition to their game tickets, fans can watch Harris from the field by purchasing field access passes available at raysbaseball.com/concerts.
