OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A's agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Nolan Sanburn, their second round selection from the 2012 First-Year Player draft, the club announced today.
Sanburn, a sophomore from the University of Arkansas, was one of the A’s two second round picks, the 74th overall selection. Sanburn went 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA in 22 games, four starts, with the Razorbacks. In 40.2 innings, he struck out 49, walked 22 and did not allow a home run.
