Blue Jays Summer Friday Fan Festivals debut tomorrow

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS will host the first of four SUMMER FRIDAY FAN FESTIVALS presented by Schneiders Grill’ems, starting tomorrow night, July 13, outside of gates 10 & 11 at Rogers Centre.

The Friday Fan Festival is a licenced event open to all fans with tickets to the game that evening.  Starting at 4:30pm and concluding at game time, ticket holders will be able to enter the Friday Fan Festival prior to entering Rogers Centre for the 7:07pm game.  This outdoor festival will feature live music, special guests and interactive games and activities.  Each week of the festival, fans will have the opportunity win great prizes and one lucky fan will win the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch that evening.

Tomorrow’s Fan Festival will feature a guest appearance by award-winning chef and BBQ guru, Ted Reader.  It will be a return to the building for this celebrity chef whose first high profile job was as the inaugural Executive Chef for the SkyDome Hotel from 1989 to 1992.  Reader and Schneiders will be doing live cooking demonstrations and providing prizes to Fan Friday Festival attendees.

Fans are encouraged to come early to participate with fellow baseball fans prior to first pitch tomorrow night and the following three Fridays;  July 27th , August 10th  and August 17th.
