Omaha Storm Chasers (56-35)

The Storm Chasers enjoyed Day 1 of their All-Star break. The Triple-A All-Star Game will be held on Wednesday night in Buffalo, N.Y. Omaha will be represented by Wil Myers, Clint Robinson, Tommy Hottovy and Ryan Verdugo.

NW Arkansas Naturals (4-13 in second half, 41-46 overall)

San Antonio 7, NW Arkansas 6
LP: Chris Dwyer (5-8)

Northwest Arkansas scored a run in the ninth before falling short at home. Manny Pina continued his rehab assignment, recording two hits and three RBIs. Rey Navarro finished with three hits, an RBI and a run. Dwyer allowed six runs on seven hits and three walks over 5 1/3 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (8-11 in second half, 37-52 overall)

Wilmington 6, Myrtle Beach 2

SV: Sam Runion (4)
HR: Lane Adams (5), Whit Merrifield (6)

The Blue Rocks avoided a sweep at home. Matt Ridings limited the Pelicans to two runs (one earned) on a hit and a walk over 5 2/3 innings. Adams started the scoring with a solo shot in the fourth. Merrifield capped a three-run eighth with a two-run blast. Orlando Calixte went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Kane County Cougars (10-8 in second half, 44-44 overall)

Wisconsin 6, Kane County 4
LP: Jason Mitchell (3-5)
HR: Julio Aparicio (3), Tim Ferguson (2)

Kane County dropped the rubber game at Wisconsin. Starter Kyle Smith scattered two runs on five hits and two walks over 4 1/3 frames. He fanned seven, giving him 36 strikeouts in a combined 23 innings with Idaho Falls and Kane County. Aparicio and Ferguson hit solo homers for the Cougars.

Idaho Falls Chukars (10-12)

Orem 20, Idaho Falls 6
LP: Clayton Schulz (1-3)
HR: Jared Schlehuber (1)

The Chukars lost a lopsided rubber game at Orem. The Owlz scored eight in the second and seven in the sixth. Non-drafted free agent Schlehuber had a big night after entering in the third inning. He recorded two hits, including his first professional home run in the eighth.

Burlington Royals (13-7)

Bluefield at Burlington, suspended due to rain

Burlington's home game was suspended in the first with Bluefield leading 1-0. The game will resume on Aug. 10.

Surprise Royals (7-8)

Surprise Royals 5, Arizona Padres 4
WP: Matt Tenuta (2-0)
SV: Andrew Durden (1)
HR: Luis Villegas (1)

The Surprise Royals held on to win at Peoria. Villegas was 3-for-3 with a two-run homer in the fourth. Tenuta pitched four innings, scattering two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks.
