• Beau Mills, son of manager Brad Mills, was traded from the Indians to the Reds on Thursday. The Astros' manager said he thinks a change of scenery could be good for Beau, who was the 13th overall selection in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft.

A first baseman, Beau hit .267 in six Minor League seasons with the Indians' organization. At Triple-A Columbus this season, he hit .197 with seven homers and 21 RBIs. He will report to Double-A Pensacola in the Reds' organization.

• Outfielder Travis Buck, on the disabled list since May 29 with right Achilles tendinitis, will alternate between outfield and designated hitter with Double-A Corpus Christi through Monday. The Hooks started a four-game series at Frisco on Friday.

• Traffic could be heavier than normal after the Astros-Indians game at 3:05 p.m. CT on Saturday due to the USA-Italy rugby match being held at BBVA Compass Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

Fans with parking passes will be able to park in Minute Maid parking lots starting at noon. The Astros don't anticipate any major issues.
