Hendriks set to start for Twins on Saturday
MINNEAPOLIS -- Twins manager Ron Gardenhire confirmed on Thursday that Liam Hendriks will be recalled from Triple-A Rochester in time to start against the Brewers on Saturday. An official roster move will be announced Friday.

With right-hander Carl Pavano on the disabled list, the Twins need a fifth starter on Saturday, and Hendriks has been impressive at Rochester.

The Australian right-hander is 5-0 with a 1.94 ERA in seven starts with the Red Wings. He has 42 strikeouts and 13 walks in 46 1/3 innings.

He's made the improvements the Twins were hoping to see from him when they optioned him after he posted a 9.00 ERA in four starts with Minnesota early in the year.
