Defending national champion South Carolina clinched a spot in the College World Series with a 5-1 victory over Oklahoma on Monday. Senior right-hander Matthew Price, a seventh-round Draft choice by the Orioles, shut the door with three scoreless innings to earn his 11th save. The No. 8 Gamecocks will square off against No. 1 Florida at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Gators advanced after beating North Carolina State in the Super Regionals.
Kent State, which upset No. 5 Oregon, 3-2, to clinch its first appearance in the College World Series, will face off with Arkansas at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Razorbacks upset No. 4 Baylor, 1-0, in 10 innings on Monday.
Friday's losing teams will square off at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, with the winners playing on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET. The losers of Saturday's contests will battle at 5 p.m. ET on Monday; the winners play on Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
The winners of each bracket will play a best-of-three series in the finals from June 24-26.
