Omaha lost a second straight vs. Memphis. Nate Adcock made his first appearance since being optioned from Kansas City, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 5.1 IP. The Storm Chasers were blanked until the eighth by Joe Kelly (8.0 IP, 7 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 3 SO). Irving Falu recorded two singles and an RBI while Jason Bourgeois went 2-for-3 with a run scored. The series wrapped up this afternoon with a day game.

NW Arkansas Naturals (29-27)

Northwest Arkansas rallied with three in the ninth to earn a sweep at Frisco. Mario Lisson tied the game with an RBI single and moved to third on the play due to a throwing error. Sharlon Schoop drove home Lisson for the go-ahead run and Rey Navarro added an insurance tally with an RBI single. Justin Marks scattered seven hits and two walks, leaving a scoreless game after 7.0 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (27-29)

Wilmington won a game that was called after the fifth due to rain. The Blue Rocks scored both runs in the second. Brett Eibner led off with a single and scored on Cheslor Cuthbert's double. Juan Graterol singled with two outs to score Cuthbert. Wilmington starter Santiago Garrido left after 2.2 innings due to injury. Cole White (2.1 IP, 0 H, 2 BB, 1 SO) earned the relief win.

Kane County was blanked in the rubber game vs. Peoria. Justin Trapp, Danny Mateo and Runey Davis recorded singles for the Cougars. Trapp was the only Kane County player to reach third base. Brooks Pounders held Peoria to two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out six over 6.0 IP.
