Omaha split a pair of seven-inning contests with Iowa. Yuniesky Betancourt continued his rehab assignment by going 3-for-4 in the first game. Starter Sean O'Sullivan scattered three runs on six hits and two walks over 6.1 innings. Mike Montgomery was dominant in the second game as he held Iowa without a hit through 5.1 innings. Monty finished with a complete game, yielding two hits, a run and three walks. Wil Myers recorded three hits, including a three-run homer, as he drove in four runs.

NW Arkansas Naturals (26-26)

Northwest Arkansas fell to .500 with a second straight loss at Midland. The RockHounds scored all three runs in the third off of Elisaul Pimentel (6.1 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 6 SO). Julio Rodriguez cut the lead to 3-1 with an RBI double in the fifth. Christian Colon singled home Nick Van Stratten later in the frame. Colon compiled a .322 average in May (29-for-90) after batting .283 in April (26-for-92). The loss dropped Northwest Arkansas to 8-16 in road games.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (24-28)

Wilmington finished with a 1-3 mark at Carolina as the Mudcats broke a 2-2 tie with five in the eighth. Starter Sugar Ray Marimon scattered two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out eight over 6.0 IP. Santiago Garrido yielded five runs over 1.1 IP. He entered having allowed just four earned runs through 43.1 combined innings with Kane County and Wilmington. Brett Eibner and Whit Merrifield hit solo homers for the Blue Rocks.

Kane County Cougars (28-25)

Kane County's contest at Clinton was postponed due to rain. A doubleheader is scheduled for Friday, with the first game to start at 5:00 p.m.
