• Wil Nieves' fourth-inning double off of Mike Leake on Saturday night was his first hit of the season with the Rockies. He was called up on Friday after catcher Ramon Hernandez was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

• Troy Tulowitzki entered Saturday batting .438 in his previous four games, after batting .196 through the first 17 games of May. He went 1-for-4 on Saturday, but looked like his old self at the plate. He singled, sent a warning-track fly to left and ripped a liner to shortstop -- only to be robbed on a diving snare by Zack Cozart. Tulowitzki was hitting .262 on May 20, but has raised his average to .279. He has six homers, six doubles and 24 RBIs on the season.
