Omaha rallied with five in the ninth to win at Fresno. Derrick Robinson drove home Kurt Mertins on a sac fly to put the Storm Chasers ahead. Clint Robinson capped the scoring with a two-run single, finishing his day with four RBI. Starter Ryan Verdugo (6.1 IP, 5 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 1 SO) held Fresno scoreless until the fifth, when he allowed three runs.

NW Arkansas Naturals (20-17)

Wil Myers hit two home runs as Northwest Arkansas opened with a win at Tulsa. Myers started the scoring with a solo shot in the first. He extended the lead to 7-1 with a two-run blast in the sixth. Myers has six home runs over his last nine games and is now tied for the league lead with 13. Eric Duncan added three hits, an RBI and a run. Elisaul Pimentel worked 5.0 innings, holding Tulsa to a lone hit, a solo homer in the second.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (15-21)

Lynchburg 5, Wilmington 4

HR: Brian Fletcher (3), Brett Eibner (6)

Wilmington dropped a back-and-forth contest at Lynchburg. Jason Adam was solved for five runs on seven hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. His ERA still stands at 2.80 (14 ER in 45.0 IP). Kevin David recorded three hits and an RBI for the Blue Rocks. Brian Fletcher and Brett Eibner each hit a solo home run. Fletcher's homer was his second in as many days.

Kane County Cougars (20-18)

Kane County 9, Wisconsin 2
WP: Kellen Moen (2-1)
HR: Murray Watts (7), Michael Antonio (1)

Kane County improved to 2-1 in a four-game series vs. Wisconsin. Murray Watts hit a two-run homer in the second and Michael Antonio followed with a grand slam in the third. Antonio led the Cougars with three hits and two runs. Kellen Moen scattered two runs on four hits over 6.0 innings as he earned his second win.
