• The Brewers played under an open Miller Park roof on Tuesday for the first time this season -- at least that's what the box score will say. In reality, the dome began to close three batters into the first inning.
It was the Brewers' 14th home game, making this the second-latest date that the team played for the first time under an open dome. They didn't see the sky until the 23rd home game on May 29, 2008. The earliest it was open was 2010 Opening Day, on April 5 of that year.
• Left-hander Chris Narveson is back with the team after undergoing surgery last week for a partially torn left rotator cuff. He was relaxing in the clubhouse on Tuesday without a sling.
"The doctors say that's OK," he said. "You're trying to let the joint re-learn itself with natural movements. It's nice to be able to move a little bit."
