Twins Announce Dates for 2013 Baseball Fantasy Camp

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Twins today announced the dates for the 2013 Baseball Fantasy Camp. The 2013 camp will be held in Fort Myers, Florida from Jan. 5 through Jan. 12 and will be coordinated in conjunction with Ultimate Sports Adventures, LLC.

Fantasy Campers enjoy a week of living the Major League Baseball lifestyle in the January warmth of Southwest Florida. While at camp, players receive a personalized MLB uniform (theirs to keep), use of the Twins clubhouse and spring training fields, and the opportunity to play at Hammond Stadium, the Spring Training home of the Twins.

Campers will be coached by former Twins greats like Tony Oliva, Kent Hrbek, Frank Viola, Rick Aguilera, Tom Brunansky, Ron Coomer, Gene Larkin, Juan Berenguer, Tim Laudner, Frank Quilici, Dave Boswell, Bill “Soup” Campbell, Julio Becquer, Luis Tiant, Eric Rasmussen, Lee Stang, National Baseball Hall of Fame Member and Camp Commissioner Bert Blyleven and Twins announcers Dick Bremer and John Gordon.

The Minnesota Twins Baseball Fantasy Camp is the officially licensed camp of the club and annually attracts approximately 100 participants. The 2013 camp is expected to sell out, so fans are encouraged to register early.
