860 AM ESPN Deportes to air one-hour special show
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 860 AM ESPN Deportes the official Spanish Language radio station of the San Francisco Giants, will present a special one-time only show called Gigantes en la Zona 860AM ESPN Deportes, a comprehensive look into the 2012 season on Tuesday, April 3 at 11:00 a.m.
The one-hour show will be hosted by Giants Spanish play-by-play announcer Erwin Higueros, along with expert analysis from former second baseman and current Spanish announcer Tito Fuentes. The show will allow Bay Area fans, particularly Spanish speaking, the opportunity to engage with the Giants broadcasters and receive more in-depth information about the 2012 Giants team.
KTRB 860 AM ESPN Deportes has one of the strongest broadcast signals in the San Francisco Bay Area. It can be heard throughout the Bay Area's nine counties and also covers the San Joaquin Valley including Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto and south to Salinas and Monterey.
In 2005, ESPN Deportes started its 24-hour sports programming in Coral Gables as the hub of ESPN Deportes Radio studios. Since then, the network has grown across the nation, achieving name recognition in the Spanish-language radio industry
The Giants broadcast team of Erwin Higueros and Tito Fuentes will call the games from the Giants' Spanish language broadcast booth - Higueros for his 15th season and Fuentes for his ninth straight season. 860 AM ESPN Deportes will carry a total of 70 broadcasts, including all week night and weekend home games and the Giants versus Oakland A's road games.
