The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that only a very limited number of tickets remain for the team’s 2012 Home Opener on Thursday, April 5 vs. the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:35 p.m., including some standing-room and single-seat tickets.
A limited number of seats are still available through the purchase of Full Season, 41-game, 20-game and 10-game season ticket plans. Full and partial-season ticket plans feature exclusive benefits including guaranteed seats for the biggest games, discounted ticket prices, invitations to special season ticket holder events featuring Pirates players and executives, plus much more.
Bleacher General Admission section tickets were released to the public, via dynamic pricing, Tuesday, March 27 for Opening Day and the 1,400 seats sold out within minutes of the on-sale.
The Pirates also announced they are expecting another near capacity crowd for the Saturday, April 7 match-up against the Phillies at 7:05 p.m. Dynamically-priced tickets for the Saturday game will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, March 29 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase the dynamically-priced tickets by calling 1-877-893-2827, online at www.pirates.com, or in person at the PNC Park Main Box Office.
