CHICAGO – After conducting an online fan voting competition to select a new host of the Chicago White Sox long running Spanish-language video series: “Orgullo Sox: My White Sox World,” South Side-native Lupita Alejandra was selected as the winning finalist.
Alejandra was born and raised a White Sox fan in Chicago’s West Lawn neighborhood, having graduated from Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School and attended DePaul University.
“This is a dream come true for me and I cannot wait to get started on Orgullo Sox,” said Alejandra. “I am thrilled and look forward to keeping White Sox fans informed and entertained this season.”
As a host of Orgullo Sox, Alejandra will present online video segments on the White Sox, Sox fans and the team’s activities in the community.
Orgullo Sox, which is presented by Miller Lite, will launch its new season the week of April 2 on orgullosox.com.
