A's place Braden and Devine on 15-day disabled list
OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s placed left-handed pitcher Dallas Braden and right-handed pitcher Joey Devine on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 24, the club announced today. Braden continues his recovery from left shoulder surgery while Devine was added to the DL with right biceps tendinitis.
The A’s also announced that left-handed pitcher Tommy Milone, right-handed pitcher Tyson Ross and first baseman Daric Barton will be inactive for the Japan Opening Series. The A’s were required to reduce their roster to 28 players by today but can list three players as inactive for the two games in Japan. The roster must be reduced to 25 players by April 4.
