LL COOL J – June 2, Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles, 4:10 p.m.
LL COOL J is an entertainment icon who has found great success crossing into multiple mediums. A two-time Grammy® Award winner, recording artist, talented actor, author, NAACP Image Award winner, entrepreneur and philanthropist, LL continues to display his wide range of talents with every project. First introduced to the world in 1984 as a Def Jam Records flagship artist, LL is the first rap artist to amass ten consecutive platinum-plus selling albums. The multi-platinum artist and two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee is currently tied for third place for most Billboard chart debuts by a rapper. As an actor, LL COOL J has successfully transitioned to one of the consistently highest rated shows on television. He currently stars in the CBS hit primetime drama series, “NCIS: LOS ANGELES” and his performance on the show garnered him a NAACP Image Award in 2011 and 2012 for his role of ‘Special Agent Sam Hanna.’
Earth Wind & Fire – June 30, Rays vs. Detroit Tigers, 7:15 p.m.
According to Rolling Stone, Earth Wind & Fire changed the sound of popular music in the 1970s with their innovative yet popular style of music. The band was founded in Chicago by Maurice White in 1969. Earth Wind & Fire have always preached clean, uplifting messages in their lyrics. Their music can be classified as many different genres, including Soul, R&B, Funk, Jazz and Rock. The band has won six Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, several Lifetime Achievement Awards and has sold over 90 million albums worldwide. Earth Wind & Fire is known for their exciting live shows complete with lights, pyrotechnics, magical illusions and a message of universal harmony. Earth Wind & Fire were the first African-American performers to sell out Madison Square Garden. The group has produced several hit singles during their six-decade career including “Shining Star,” “That’s the Way of the World,” “Devotion,” “Reasons,” “Sing a Song,” “Can’t Hide Love,” “Getaway,” “Fantasy,” “September,” “Boogie Wonderland,” “After the Love Has Gone” and “Let’s Groove.” Earth Wind & Fire was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
The Wiggles – August 5, Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles, 1:40 p.m.
Known as “Your Child’s First Rock Band,” The Wiggles have achieved worldwide success with their children’s albums, videos, television series and concert appearances. Formed in Sydney, Australia in 1991, The Wiggles are known around the world for combining music and theories of child development in their videos, television programs and live shows. They have earned 17 gold, 12 platinum, three double-platinum and 10 multi-platinum awards for sales of over 17 million DVDs and four million CDs. The Wiggles were named Business Review Weekly’s top-earning Australian entertainers for four straight years and in 2002 became the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) most successful pre-school television program of all time. The Wiggles have won two Australian Performing Right Association (APRA) songwriting awards and multiple Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) awards for Best Children’s Release in 1995, ’96 and ’98.

This marks the fifth season of the Rays Summer Concert Series. Since it began in 2008, the Rays have gone 27-6 (on Saturday concerts) and averaged more than 30,000 fans on those dates.
