Braves FREE Open House on Saturday, March 31

The Atlanta Braves are counting down the days to their home opener on Friday, April 13, and in eager anticipation of the coming season, the Braves are inviting fans to come out to Turner Field to have some fun, during a FREE Open House event on Saturday, March 31, beginning at noon

Free activities during the Open House include:

  • Watch the Braves take on the Detroit Tigers live from Disney at 1:00 p.m. on SportSouth, on one of the world’s largest high definition scoreboards, BravesVision, in center field. 
  • Pitch and Hit in the game cages in Scout’s Alley
  • Visit the Braves Museum and Hall of Fame
  • Tour Turner Field – sit in the dugout  and see the press box and broadcast booths
  • Run the Bases, weather permitting
  • The Heavy Hitters drumline and Tomahawk Team will be on hand to entertain fans in the Plaza.

Fans looking for even more Braves interaction can arrive at Turner Field before the Open House begins, from 10:00-11:30, and enjoy an all-you-can-eat Waffle House® breakfast with Braves alumni including Ryan Klesko, Otis Nixon, Marquis Grissom, Jim Nash and more at the Right Field Patio.   Tickets to the Alumni Breakfast are $12 in advance at and $15 on the day of the event at the Turner Field ticket windows.      

Braves ticket sales representatives will be on hand as well, to give tours of available seating to fans interested in season ticket packages.  Fans with season ticket packages of 20 or more games will save an unprecedented 33% on concessions (excluding alcohol) in 2012.
