Arlington, Texas---The Texas Rangers have sold over 100,000 tickets on the first day of the 2012 individual on-sale on Saturday.
As of 4:00 p.m. CT, a total of 101,672 tickets had been sold through phone, web, box office, and group sales. Less than 100 obstructed view and standing room tickets remain for the club’s season opener on Friday, April 6 against the Chicago White Sox at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. All other individual reserved seats have been sold for opening day.
Fans can still get opening day tickets with the purchase of Rangers full or half season ticket packages or 20-game and 10-game plans. For more information, call 972.RANGERS.
Good seats remain for all other games on the team’s 2012 home schedule.
The Rangers Ballpark in Arlington West Box Office will be open on Sunday from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m. and on weekdays beginning Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Individual game tickets may also be purchased at texasrangers.com or by calling 972.RANGERS.
