FOX Sports Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Brewers announced a 150-game television schedule for the 2012 season today. FOX Sports Wisconsin now serves as the exclusive television home for the Milwaukee Brewers, televising nearly every game not scheduled for national network TV.
FOX Sports Wisconsin’s regular season coverage begins on Friday, April 6 with coverage of opening day from Miller Park. The network will televise a special one-hour edition of Brewers Live starting at 2:00 p.m. before the match-up against the World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals.
Other highlights from the 2012 schedule include: fifteen games against the division rival Chicago Cubs, six border battle match-ups against the Minnesota Twins and thirteen games against the defending World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals.
Brian Anderson will continue to call the play-by-play this season alongside Bill Schroeder, who enters his eighteenth season as Brewers analyst. Brewers Live airs before and after Brewers telecasts with Craig Coshun, Jeff Grayson and Telly Hughes reporting. FOX Sports Wisconsin broadcasts will also feature analysis from former Brewers first base coach Davey Nelson and former Brewer Jerry Augustine.
FOX Sports Wisconsin will also televise a total of six Brewers spring training games in 2012 beginning with a 2:00 p.m. telecast on Tuesday, March 6 when the Brewers face the Athletics.
All games are broadcast in high definition.
