The first ever Jiffy Lube Miami Marlins FanFest and Select-A-Seat presented by MetroPCS will be held at Marlins Park on Saturday, March 3rd from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. Fans will be able to meet players, get autographs, walk through and take pictures of the brand new Marlins Park, and select their ticket plan in person for the inaugural Miami Marlins season. Plus, fans can enjoy live music, entertainment, games and activities for the entire family on the west plaza throughout the day. FanFest is free and open to the public. Parking in the four on-site garages surrounding Marlins Park will be $5 per vehicle. Marlins Season Ticket Holders can enter FanFest at 10 AM and enjoy an exclusive hour of games, activities and player autograph sessions at FanFest.
Single game tickets for the inaugural Miami Marlins season, including the Interleague series against the Boston Red Sox, will be available for purchase starting at 10 A.M. on marlins.com and at the Marlins Park Box Office, located on the north side of the ballpark, between the Home Plate and 3rd Base Entrances on Felo Ramirez Drive.
Tickets for the inaugural Opening Night on April 4th will only be available for fans purchasing Full Season Plans, 41-Game Half Season Plans, 20-Game Mini Plans, 20-Game Weekend Plans and the new Opening Night 10-Game Pack. Seats that are currently available for purchase will be marked with various colored season ticket seat tags throughout Marlins Park during FanFest.
FanFest activities inside Marlins Park include autograph sessions with Marlins players and coaches throughout FanFest, Select-A-Seat which allows fans to pick out and secure the best available seats for the inaugural Miami Marlins season at Marlins Park, Town Hall Meetings from the field with Marlins players, coaches and executives in which fans get to ask the questions, brand new concession stands will be open, giving fans a sneak preview at food and beverage options at Marlins Park, and live broadcasts from the Marlins’ flagship radio stations.
Also, fans can enjoy entertainment on the West Plaza with interactive games for all ages including bounce houses, video games, full-size batting cages, a little sluggers' zone, steal home challenge, big league speed pitch, live music throughout the day, a photograph tent with Marlins players presented by MetroPCS, Radio Disney AM 990 Family FunZone, a baseball card and memorabilia show exhibit, the MetroPCS “Crank Call” booth and much more. Fans can also sign up for the 2012 Marlins Fan Club and Billy's Bunch Kids Club for the first time.
