MIAMI – The Marlins will be hosting the New York Yankees at Marlins Park in two exhibition games. The games against the New York Yankees will take place on Sunday, April 1 at 1:10 PM and Monday, April 2 at 7:10 PM. For the April 1 game, approximately 25,000 tickets will be available, with approximately 30,000 tickets available for the April 2 game.
Single game tickets to the exhibition games at Marlins Park against the New York Yankees will go on sale to the public this Saturday, February 18 at 10 AM. Fans will be able to purchase tickets exclusively online through marlins.com.
The Miami Marlins today also announced that there has been unprecedented demand for tickets to Opening Night at Marlins Park. To date, over 52,000 fans have registered for a chance to purchase up to two tickets for Opening Night.
Due to this unprecedented demand, fans who want to purchase tickets for the Inaugural Miami Marlins Opening Night on April 4th, 7:05 PM at Marlins Park, are required to enter an online registration process at marlins.com/openingnight. The registration process began on February 1 and will continue through next Monday, February 20. Winners will be announced Thursday, February 23. There is no charge to register for this opportunity.
This will be the only opportunity for fans to purchase individual tickets for Opening Night. There are other opportunities to purchase tickets for Opening Night, including the newly added 10-Game Pack. The Opening Night 10-Game pack is on sale exclusively online through marlins.com and starts as low as $250 for 10 games including Opening Night.
Single game tickets, with the exception of Opening Night, will go on sale March 3 at 10 A.M. at marlins.com and at the Marlins Park Ticket Office.
