State Farm is the Presenting Sponsor of Dodger Stadium's 50th Anniversary

LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers unveiled today the Dodger Stadium 50th Anniversary logo that will be implemented extensively throughout the 2012 season. State Farm is the presenting sponsor of the season-long celebration of Dodger Stadium’s 50th Anniversary.

The Dodger Stadium 50th Anniversary presented by State Farm logo features a panoramic view of the stadium's famed multi-colored seating decks. Traditional Dodger Blue is complemented by the building's mid-century modern color palette, while the gold banner and lettering signify the stadium’s Golden Anniversary. The points on the sunburst each represent a Major League Baseball ballpark opened and closed for baseball use during the 50-year life span of Dodger Stadium.  The logo will appear as badges on the Dodger uniforms during the 2012 season.

This year marks the 50th year of the establishment of Dodger Stadium, an indelible Los Angeles landmark that greatly impacted the fabric of the city of Los Angeles, solidified the Dodger franchise in Southern California and offset decades of great moments and memories for countless Los Angeles families. State Farm will have the opportunity to present this year’s celebration of Dodger Stadium’s rich history.

As the presenting sponsor, State Farm will receive exclusivity on all 50th Anniversary initiatives at Dodger Stadium that includes substantial exposure in the Dodgers’ 2012 media campaign featuring  radio spots on KLAC, the new radio home of the Dodgers, Spanish-language radio spots on Univision Radio’s KTNQ, television ads, print ads and branded outdoor billboards throughout the city.

As the presenting sponsor, State Farm will also receive unprecedented exposure via new permanent signage both inside and outside of Dodger Stadium to include branded walls, player murals, branded pillars on most levels of the stadium and inclusion in collectible ticket stock that is issued to Dodger Season Ticket holders.  Additionally, State Farms’ sponsorship of Dodger Stadium’s 50th Anniversary, will include in-stadium DodgerVision features visible during all home games, branded promotional items and title sponsorship of the anniversary’s marquee celebrations.
