Nationals play host to Georgetown exhibition game at Space Coast Stadium

The Washington Nationals today announced they will host Georgetown University's baseball program in an exhibition game to be played at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2 at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, FL. Nationals Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcement.

The matchup marks the second time the Nationals and Hoyas will meet in an exhibition contest. The Nationals also hosted Georgetown for an exhibition game on February 28, 2008 at Space Coast Stadium.

Tickets for the exhibition game will cost $5.00 with all proceeds benefiting the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation. Nationals 2012 Spring Training Season Ticket Holders will be granted free admission.

The Nationals open their official Grapefruit League slate, Saturday, March 3 at Houston. One day later, on Sunday, March 4, the Nationals will host the Astros in their Grapefruit League home opener at Space Coast Stadium.
