ST. LOUIS -- Rangers manager Ron Washington isn't certain if Game 5 starter C.J. Wilson is available for relief duty in Game 6. Wilson has had two days off, but threw 108 pitches in a 4-2 victory over the Cardinals on Monday.
Derek Holland is in the bullpen on Thursday, Washington said. Holland threw 116 pitches in a 4-0 victory in Game 4 and is now ready to be used in relief. Colby Lewis is scheduled to start.
"We'll use him in whatever way we have to use him," Washington said.
"We're expecting Colby to go out there and give us a solid outing, so hopefully we don't need everybody," reliever Mike Adams said. "But just in case, we're going to have everybody back to full strength, and we'll be ready to go."
Wilson will almost certainly be available for Game 7, if necessary, on Friday. But Washington isn't going to hold anybody back for Game 7 if they are needed in Game 6.
"I'm not worried about tomorrow," Washington said. "If we get a chance to put this away tonight, nobody is going to be sitting around and watching."
