Brennaman Golf Classic Raises $185,000

Benefits Reds Community Fund

The 13th annual CBTS Marty Brennaman Golf Classic presented by Delta Air Lines, which took place at Belterra Casino Resort on September 17-18, raised $185,000 for the Reds Community Fund.

Hosted by Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman, 45 celebrities and 175 golfers participated in the annual event that included two golf scrambles, a Sunday night dinner and comedy show featuring national touring comedian Greg Warren.

Special guests included former Reds players Aaron Harang, David Weathers and Hal Morris plus Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo, who performed a few songs for the event participants in Belterra's CenterStage Showroom.

Since its inception in 2005, the Marty Brennaman Golf Classic has raised nearly $2.7 million to support the baseball and softball-themed outreach programs of the Reds Community Fund.

"I'm most proud of the awareness and charitable dollars that this event has raised in 13 years," said Brennaman. "The Reds Community Fund means a great deal to me as it works year-round to provide a variety of outreach programs for underserved kids throughout Reds Country."

The event was sponsored by CBTS, Delta, Belterra Casino Resort, FOX Sports Ohio and Prestige AV & Creative Services.
