Cleveland Indians Friday game vs. Royals is sold out

Marks 10th sellout of the season, most sellouts since 11 in 2007; Limited tickets remain for Saturday-Sunday games vs. Royals; Tribe magic number to clinch Central is 3

Cleveland, OH -- The Cleveland Indians announced that Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals is sold out. It's the 10th sellout of the year, joining April 11 vs. the White Sox, July 4 vs. the Padres, July 8 vs. the Tigers, July 21-22 vs. the Blue Jays, August 4-5 vs. the Yankees and Aug. 25-26 vs. the Royals.

Limited tickets remain for Saturday and Sunday's games against the Royals, with the Tribe closing in on a clinch of the American League Central.

  • Saturday, Sept. 16 vs. KC (all gates open at 2PM, first pitch at 4PM)
  • Sunday, Sept. 17 vs. KC (all gates open at 11AM)
